v7.0 is out. (See my comment below regarding the EOL for "Kindle Classic"). Release Notes: "- Text selection and highlighting improvements. - Shift+click to select multiple books in Library. - Play and pause audiobooks with the space bar. - Delete flashcards for cleaner study space. - Added citation to copied text for easy referencing." - - Amazon has also freed users from having to bother with Annotation mode when using Apple's Text-To-Speech. Now users can drag-select text, hit their system chosen TTS keys (such as OPT-ESC), and the text is read without any highlighting. It just works. If you get tired of TTS reading Credits to you at the end of each reading, just hit your TTD keys for silence. At last, Kindle Reader for Mac is growing up into something good. I added a couple stars. Keep at it, Amazon!
